The Teamsters National Black Caucus is saddened to affirm the death of retired Teamster leader, Antonio Christian, who passed away on February 4, 2024.
Christian’s contributions to Teamster history are iconic. He served in many leadership positions locally and on the national level. He was a trailblazer, being the first in many roles.
Antonio served as the TNBC National Executive Director for many years. As Executive Director, he used his event management skills to organize and plan the Annual Education Conferences; he also served as the Conference’s Program Director and Master of Ceremony.
He was a true professional that led by example. He was straight forward and always just got the job done! The TNBC members mourn the loss of this great labor leader, and we will miss him.
We offer sincere condolences to and embrace his wife Betty. We will keep her, his daughters and the family in our thoughts and prayers.
